Alicia Niles
was born in Venezuela but calls Hamilton, Canada her home. Alicia pursued her education
and training at John Abbott
College,
Mount Allison University, the Ontario
College of Art and Design and George Brown College.
In 2003 Alicia chose to further explore the intersection of beauty and design when she fell in love with glass, and
eventually lampworking and bead making. She pursued her explorations in glass through classes at Sheridan College, and went on to develop lampworking facilities at a small Toronto glass studio.
Alicia finds inspiration for her colourful jewellery designs from
the natural world around her, from her passion for gardening, and her love of the sea.
